The story is now a fact of how one Zohab fulfilled his wish with patience and courage and there is a lesson for us that success comes with hard work, patience and courage.

Introduction to Zohaib:

Zohaib Qureshi is a resident of Larkana district of Sindh. Zohaib said that we are two brothers and one sister and my father Abdul Latif Qureshi was a famous motor mechanic of Larkana. All the elders and officers of Larkana and its environs used to get their vehicles repaired by them. Our house was on the upper floor of our garage. As a child, I saw that my father and mother always said that we would teach the three of us well and they would become great officers.

Education:

I got my basic education from Larkana and I was considered as one of the good students and after that my father and everyone wanted me to get higher education. Then I got admitted in Larkana Cadet College and my father had a hard time getting it. I did my FSC in 2010 with honors from Larkana Cadet College.

I was also given the award for the best knowledge. After FSC, I tried to become a commission officer twice. Reach ISB both times but could not be select. Very disappointed but my father, mother, aunt and brother became my helpers. Encouraged by his father, he enrolled in Mechanical Engineering at Mehran University Hyderabad and started his studies there. My father was a diabetic and he did not even abstain. His treatment continued. Finally, my father died in 2014. I graduated in engineering from Mehran University in 2015. Now the problem was how to do CSS. I didn’t know anything.

Government job:

After graduating from the university, he got a job as a monitoring assistant in the Sindh Education Department. I took the exam and interview and was select. Now it used to happen that he would get on a motorbike in the morning and come back in the evening. But he would come home in the evening and try to prepare CSS. During this time a lectureship came and I pass the exam and pass there too but it was temporary. My dad had a dream that I would do CSS so my brother opened the garage and started bearing our expenses.

Quit government job:

Eventually I quit my government job and worked day and night to prepare for CSS. In this regard, I used to improve my English and sometimes prepare it in Islamabad and Karachi. My mother and Baji used to pray a lot and My brother was paying for it

Whenever I was free, I would go to the library in Larkana and read there. I also went to some people who had done CSS and asked them for help, but they got very little or no help.

I had also taken the exam in Sindh Public Service Commission. But my mission was CSS. There was a lot of problem with accommodation, food, and water in Islamabad. I hear a lot of taunts from my relatives that if I quit my government job, I upset for a while but later I would forget.

Friend’s phone:

In 2019 a friend called me and informing me about my victory. I am not sure then another friend confirms. everyone including me very happy and now the interview and I Worked hard and succeeded

Zohaib Qureshi’s number in the list is 260th.his department is Land and Revenue in which he will train as a Grade 17 officer and render his services. May Allah bless him with success in the future as well
